I had a 12volt deep cycle interstate battery given to me its not the same battery that i have know in my camper, my question is can i wire this battery parallel to my existing battery even though they are not the exact same deep cycle battery.

It's not the best setup. The lesser battery will limit their performance.

I forgot to answer your question…Yes, you can wire them in parallel, and you will see some benefit. Just not as much as you potentially could. I'd do it, keeping in mind that I'd be preparing to replace them with dual 6V batteries next time around. So get a taller battery box for the new battery. A 6V battery has about the same footprint, but is taller.
