Hello from a newbie!

Hello everyone. We are a young family with two small girls, and we LOVE camping. We have been rvr's for years and are looking to upgrade our current fifth wheel. We are looking at a 2009 keystone laredo with bunks in the the back for the girls. I actually found this site by reading reviews from an unhappy keystone owner. She insisted you check this site before buying, but I haven't seen anything MAJOR that would detour us from pursuing this RV. Looking forward to all of your advice and help! Glad to have found you!

Krissy, Welcome to the forum. Researching on your own and drawing your own conclusions is the right way to go. Finding the right floor-plan that fits your families needs is a major decision. Good luck with your choice and be sure to keep us informed. Happy camping, Hank

A recent forum poll which asked, "Would You Buy Another Keystone?", has resulted in 90% of the respondents answering "YES". Those results, while not scientific, would seem to indicate that almost all of the members here are happy with their Keystone RV. Yes, there have been some who have had problems, some serious. Many of us have had minor and user fixable issues. With any mass-produced, assembly line product, you will find imperfections. These units are not perfect but they seem to give our members good value for their $$$$.
Welcome to the group, Krissy.

Welcome Mom2Two:

So happy to have you join the forum.

The members here are always willing to help out with any questions or concerns you may have.

I hope you find the floor plan that works for you and your family and then find a dealer you feel comfortable.

Here's hoping you get to camping soon!

Jo

Welcome to the forum. You should be able to find just about anything you need regarding your potential purchase. We are similar in that we have 3 boys (all under 10) and looked all over at different floor plans before we settled on an upgrade this year. Couldn't be happier with our purchase. Good luck in your search.

A Laredo

Ohhhhhh nooooo; not a "Laredo"... owners say they love them and enjoy camping....

Actually, this site is VERY informative and helpful with things like a "punch" or inspection list. Draw one down from the archives and USE IT. There are way too many items to review and remember when checking out any used or new unit.

If it's a fit for your family and is structually sound; just do it !

Best wishes for many years of problem free camping.
