Dometic propane stove/oven won't light

We have a 2017 Passport 2510rb. The last 2 camping trips, we have had a problem lighting the gas stove and oven. We've tried bleeding the lines. We used the propane grill that is attached to the bumper and it lit fine. Tried to light the stove after that and were able to get it to light. Next trip, the stove won't light again. We lit the grill and then tried the stove and this time, it still wouldn't light. Any suggestions on what might be going on?

When you are trying to light the burners, does the flame on the lighter flicker (like air is coming out of the burner)?

My husband checked and said it does not flicker. We don't smell any propane at the stove either.

Is the stove on a slide? If so check underneath for kinks or a shut off quick connect.

My next step would be to find the supply line to the stove. Turn the tanks off, disconnect the supply line to the stove, then have someone slightly open the tanks to see if you get gas there. If you do, the problem is at the stove. If you don't, problem is in the supply lines.

That might very well be. Didn't work then we got it to light one night then didn't light again.

There are three "safety shut-off valves" in your propane system.

First is the safety valve inside the tank (in addition to the off/on valve).
Second is the valve inside the supply hose (from the tank to the regulator)
Third is the valve inside the regulator.

Any of those can close if a leak is detected. To "reset" all of them, first turn off the propane at the tank, disconnect the hose at the tank, turn on a gas appliance (stove is easiest) to relieve pressure from the regulator. Then, turn off the stove (or whatever you used to bleed the system), reconnect the regulator hose to the tank and SLOWLY turn on the propane tank. Make sure the automatic changeover selector is pointed to the tank you are currently using.

Then go inside and see if you have propane at the stovetop burners. You will hear the "whisper" of air/propane as it flows from the burner. It will take a few moments for the air to bleed from the system, then the stovetop should light. If you don't hear the air/propane and the burners won't ignite, then try to light your water heater. You'll know when it ignites by the "jet engine" sound it makes. If it doesn't light either, then you probably have a bad regulator or a bad "pigtail" (from the propane tank to the regulator). Try the other propane tank to eliminate the "pigtail". If neither tank will provide propane, it's probably the regulator.

I'll ask this since no one else has. How are you trying to light it? With a lighter or the stove igniter? There is a wire on the igniter that could have a loose connection that is giving you your intermittent problem.

Make and model number of the stove please. That would help us figure out your problem.

I'm sorry, I thought I included that. It's a Dometic 3 burner Wedgewood Vision Slide-in. It looks like this one. https://www.dometic.com/en-us/us/pro...de-in-_-163738

We didn't get a book with it when we purchased our 2017 Keystone Passport new.

You have 4 knobs. The one on the left, when turned clockwise, should produce a spark at each burner. If it doesn't spark at all, or only sparks at one or two burners, there may be a loose or disconnected wire. That's easily checked by lifting the cover and inspecting the connections.

Each sparker needs a clean path to ground so cleaning around them is important.

Our sparkler didn't work for one burner. Wife called its maker and the sent us 3 new wires. Replaced the one that didn't work now works. Taking the old wire out could feel cracks in the plastic counting
I think they got a bad batch of wires. New ones are made different and heavier made.

There is only a wire on the far right for the oven. The burners do not have a wire.
