On a trip this summer, we lost the "lid" on our propane bottle cover. Not sure if it's a Camco - but sure looks identical.
I need to replace before the rains/snows fly and gets down into the bottles and causes rust, rot and ruination
I've got a Camco in my Amazon list - BUT I'm wondering if there is something significantly better that doesn't have that issue - OR - if someone has made a modification to the lid so it doesn't blow off.
Yes, I did reverse the lid so it opened towards the TV, it's just after a few opens/closes, the cheapie "hinges" just wouldn't hold very well anymore.
I've wondering about drilling a few holes (3-4 on cover and corresponding holes on lid) on the hinge side and putting some zipties in there to hold in case the hinges let go again.
Other ideas?
