Howdy from New Mexico!
Hello,
My wife and I are the fairly new owners of a 2019 Passport 197RB Ultra Light travel trailer. We've had it for about 3 months, and have had some good, and not so good, experiences with it already. It is a brand new floorplan and has a few kinks to work out. Particularly with the shelves in the big closet in the bathroom, which both collapsed within our first 3 trips, with maybe 300 miles on it. They have been fixed by the dealer. The "board" in the water heater has already failed and been replaced, but that's not on Keystone. It's a Dometic water heater.
We enjoy camping. My wife and I have done a lot of tent camping in New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and California. We've had a 1977 Mobile Traveler motor home, on a Dodge chassis, for about 15 years, and have been thousands of miles in it with kids, dogs, friends, etc. We also enjoy camping in volunteer maintained cabins at old mining claims and mining camps around the southwest. It's a fun time hanging out in old, once abandoned miner's homes and learning about their history, exploring the desert, and doing some volunteer maintenance and improvements, as necessary, while we are there.
We are newly "empty nesters", and the Passport purchase was primarily so we'd have something that "fits" just us two, with maybe room for one or two more on the dinette bed. Having modern "push button" features ain't too bad, either! One disadvantage to the motor home was that it was never set up to tow anything heavy, so the motor home always had to go where we went. We still have the Mobile Traveler, and I've been doing some work on it getting it up to snuff, so the kids, who are now all on their own, and a couple married with kids of their own, can use it. It's been a great motor home and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. My most recent project was replacing the kitchen countertop, which had gotten "soft" with age and decades of moisture damage. I had to make the top myself as it was an odd size.
The nicest thing about the Passport trailer is leaving it behind at the campsite while we drive away to explore!
Our tow vehicle is a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, which has the 4.7 liter H.O. engine, which pulls the Passport like it's hardly even there. Another advantage to the Cherokee/Passport combination is getting up to 14 MPG on the highway towing the trailer, when the Mobile Traveler got around 6 on it's best day! We've only had the Cherokee about a year, but it only had 67,000 one-owner miles on it when we bought it, so it's been exemplary so far. Plus, with 4x4, it gives us the opportunity to get way back in the backcountry like we like. Our other vehicles include a 2000 Jeep Wrangler, and 2002 Jeep Liberty. We really like getting out there on the dirt trails, and we use the heck out of them!
I look forward to conversing with fellow Keystone owners and sharing experiences!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes!
I'm hoping to get our new rig back from the dealership tomorrow or the next day with all the warranty work (so far) completed, and once again be ready to hit the road!
I'm tempted to jump right into outlining the warranty work here and now, because I made a really stupid mistake during the purchase process...but instead, I'll start a new thread in the forums more suited for that purpose.....
...to be continued.
