MaxAir Vent Covers

Does anyone know how to clean the bugs inside the screen from inside the camper. I have the max air vent covers over the vent and a screen that I cannot figure out how to remove from the inside to clean.

I would just turn on the fan and then use compressed air or something similar to elevate them into the air flow.....the vent cover on the roof should be somewhat easily removed as well giving easy access from the roof. Mine are just held down with pins, not glued.

Tough to see the edges of the screen in that photo. Usually these screens are made so that a minimum of edge prying in the proper direction will dislodge them. It may take a modicum of staring.

Remove the four screws from the garnish (trim), drop it down, remove the single screw from the handle, pull the handle off, and the screen should drop into your hands.

On our trailer's Ventline brand vents, the screen is held in place by several plastic tabs around the edges of the screen. Carefully (they can get brittle) depress the tabs and the screen will come down.

In my coach, there are also 2 screws holding the screen. Philips head, 1 each on opposing sides.

So if doesn't drop down that may be why...

Good luck.
