Cover the big hole in the side

Removed the factory steps at the front entrance after installing the drop down stairs. Then decided I didn't like the look of the empty space. Looked at tool boxes to mount but decided on a blank cover. Here's how I did it.

Those are very nice, but they are too salty for me to justify.
I don't need that space at this time and the aluminum sheet was cost effective, since I've had it laying around for a few years and now I found a use for it.

Still surprised at the number downgrading to the pull down steps. They came on my new Montana and will be gone this winter.

Why do you consider these a down grade?

For anyone that has trouble with climbing stairs or walking the MORryde pull down stair is a blessing. My GF has MS and sometimes standing is a problem. Better footing on steps has it's advantage for her. It can be the difference in going or staying home. I would install an elevator for her if necessary, but it's not so far.

If you are looking for a factory installed set I may have what you need in my garage.

I think he meant it the other way. Some with the Morryde steps are taking them out for the fold-under type due to the amount of room when their trailer is in storage.
