We were at a park & they escorted a motorhome next to us, the wife jumps out with her walkie talkie & heads to the rear, in the meantime the driver is talking out the window to the park escort, all the while the wife is back there giving instructions getting louder & louder, once they finish their conversation the driver says to the escort would you mind going back there & tell my wife to turn her walkie talkie on.
So be sure your wife knows how to use the new walkie talkies, mine forgets to release the talk button so it's a one sided conversation.

Hard to see in the photos maybe should have painted them white
That's a great idea!!! When I got my new TV in August, I kept the rubber bed mat from my old TV, thinking that the heavy duty 3/8" rubber mat would come in handy for some kind of project(s) in future. Well I now have my first project that I'll be using that mat for once the weather breaks!!!

My only concern is that when driving the mudflaps might be flapping against the leveling jacks?!?! Need to keep them far enough behind the tires so they don't get "sucked up" into the tire, but forward enough of jacks. Will have to check spacing tomorrow.

Thank you IRV2!

LOL!!!

I'll definitely have a training session with her. She used to work EMS, so I'm hoping she can respond to radio training without too much stress on the instructor.

Replaced the zerks on the suspension, from straight to 90*. Will be much easier to get the gun on!

Nice addition. Did you change out the wet bolts or just the zerks?

I added a second battery to the 5er. The way the factory placed the battery in here was a waste of space. I relocated the factory battery and added a second.

On Friday got some Goodyear Endurance 'E' tires. Today I got a good deal on the Surge Guard and installed it today.

Optronics MCL32RBB Clearance Lights

I replaced a couple of clearance lights. I couldn't find any of the OEM's so I got Optronics MCL32RBB from CW. Command Electronics are on the 5er and two have blown out I switched them around to look uniform on the back.
I went to CW and was talking to a service tech who was working on another unit with the same lights three were blown on that one. I could have ordered from Command Electronics but I don't want more of the same, so I went with a more reliable light I hope.
At least if they go out they will be easily purchased. I know there are a few of us here that have these lights, seem to be the lowest bidder on our Laredo's.

I finished the privacy curtain project on my Keystone Outback 250urs. It will allow privacy in the front bunk bed area. This will be a large dressing or changing area in the trailer with direct access to the bathroom.
I’m sure my 10-year grand daughter will appreciate it. I used wooden end caps and a wood dowel rod from the craft section at Home Depot. Painted the ends and rod a dark brown. We used a cloth shower curtain. Exactly the width and length (height) needed.

LOL. Seem to have a difference in the stated design goals and the finished product.[emoji3]

I shoveled the snow pile in front of the camper that slid off the shed roof. Camper is coming out in a month hopfully and don’t want to shovel a 4’ pile of snow if we get more before then.

Also checked the inside over for mice, not a sign again this winter. Amazing what a can of spray foam can do!!

Are they the slide over ones? and if so, was drilling a hole necessary?

I did not have to drill any holes. They slip on over the existing mirror and are held on by tension using a wedge between the mirrors and a setscrew on the outside of the extension. You might be able to see it in the picture.

Here is a link to my model: Cipa Mirror Extensions

I bought mine off of Amazon. I got mine at almost a $20 discount. They were new, but the box was damaged.

They performed flawlessly. When tightened securely, there was no way they were coming off. I wish the passenger mirror had a slightly larger view, but I'm still very satisfied. A lot cheaper than installing factory towing mirrors.

I bought the same Cipa mirrors for my Silverado. Just did a dry fit last fall. They seemed secure and look great.

Waiting for spring to show up so we can try them out for real.
