Vegetables

Any secrets on how to keep your vegetables from spoiling to fast in an RV refrigerator. I tried eating them faster but just gave me a belly ache. Thanks in advance.

Same with us after five different fridges. Never a problem with any of them.

The DW keeps her veggies in plastic containers. After rinsing, she drains them on a paper towel, then puts the veggies, damp towel and all in the plastic container. Seems to work, and keeps that 1/2 onion from permeating everything else in there.

We don't have an issue any more than we do in a S&B. Some things we don't put in the fridge; tomatoes, onions, potatoes etc. unless they are partial. A paper towel wrapped around lettuce, onions etc. in a plastic container also seems to help.

I get most of my veggies in a 1.75 liter bottle... Corn is a veggie... right???

Seriously, we don't do anything differently than at the sticks & bricks...

Have you put a thermometer in the fridge to see what the temp is? It should be set at about 38-40 degrees. Are you using a drawer at the bottom to keep them in? We have started limiting our purchases so as not to have more than we can use in 3-4 days.
