Water heater lighting question?

I noticed at my last trip the water heater would take several ignitions to fire off? At first I thought I must have ran out of fuel but after switching tanks it did it again. Now there were no explosions just quick ignition fails that you could hear.
Any Ideas why the struggle?
2018 Keystone Passport?
Thanks.

Could be something in the burner tube, spiderweb or mud dobber. You might try blowing it out to see if that will help.

Chip is dead on. I would also check the tip of the ignitor for carbon build up and proper gap.

Thanks, I'll look into it. I'll report my findings.
