Shower Drain Fix (5er Storage issue)

Well after fighting an issue with our shower drain blocking much needed storage space in our basement I finally fixed the issue.
The issue was the drain line and trap blocked a considerable area of the basement.
The fix was to relocate the drain line to the side wall, and the trap was relocated to the front wall. In addition we also got a better slope on the line to the tank as the old line was almost flat or slightly uphill to the trap.

This not only opens up the basement, now the P trap is removable for cleaning!

This is the old line blocking a good portion of the basement space.





This is the realigned drain and relocated trap, out of the way!

Just another example of the guys that build things don't know/don't care how they should/could be built. Your fix probably cost less than $20 & a hour of your time to do it correctly, too bad they don't take the 15 minutes to show those guys how to do it correctly/neatly, take a little pride in what you produce.

Nice job, I would have moved the pee trap more to the right of the electrical outlet.

Now easier to move outlet!
Would only matter when removing trap, and this is circuit I added so the breaker is correctly labeled.
