Installed a motion detector light on the side of the cargo space that I access most often, instead of the other side where the manufacturer put it, and where it never shines through to where I need it. Also installed a clever little shoe hanger on the "nightstand" wall next to my bed, to keep the pair I'm not wearing out from underfoot in the narrow bedroom walkways.

I added a couple motion lights in the storage bay. Mine are 12v wired. There are plenty of 12v feeds to tap in to

The battery disconnect switch is right there, and the other side of the wall is the water pump compartment, so tapping into the switched side was pretty easy.

While repacking the wheel bearings in preparation for our trip to Texas, I discovered an inner bearing cone that appeared to be badly worn. It wasn't galled, nor did it show any signs of having been over-heated. The rollers were just obviously smaller in diameter to the point that the roller cage was close to coming in contact with the race.
These are the OEM Chinese bearings. The trailer has about 10,000 miles on it and the bearings were repacked about 7,000 miles ago.
So, off to Motion Industries yesterday to buy a complete set of Timken inner and outer bearings/races with Timken double lip seals (under $200). Today we're replacing the Chinese bearings with the Timkens.
Thought about making the upcoming 4200 mi trip without servicing the bearings. After all, they were serviced only 7,000 miles ago. Every once in a while, even a blind squirrel finds a nut!

Just another example of why you should never use the EZ lube feature, you would've never known of this issue til you were stranded along the highway had you not taken it apart to hand pack the bearings.
This is why I did mine annually regardless of mileage, grease is cheap & I have lots of time.
Anyone that owns a RV should learn to do this themselves, whether you pay to have them done or not, at least you'd know if you're getting what you've paid for & if you're unfortunately broke down along the highway you could take care of it.
It's dirty, messy, but not rocket science. If you're able to jack your RV up to change a flat you're most likely able to do this bit of maintenance with a pair of channel lock pliers & a pair of rubber gloves. Invite a friend with experience &/or watch a few u tube videos.

Couldn't agree more. Having grown up in an era when virtually every car had this style bearing, I would never do it any other way.

Well, I didn't do it today but I did it a few weeks ago, I finally got around installing my JT's StrongArm. I haven't been able to try it out but after reading all of the reviews I'm sure it is one of the best mod I did.

Emptied the dehumidifier and looked for leaks. None found. Whew! My worst nightmare is finding the soft floor. I try to make sure and keep up on the sealant. After reading about all the soft floor issues, I'll likely pull the skirt trim and reseal that and all the screws too. Then the wheel wells and underside exposed Darco.

Were you able to re-key both the handle and deadbolt cylinders in that door handle? When I took mine into a locksmith, he said he could only re-key the deadbolt cylinder, as the handle cylinder was molded into the casing. Do I just need to find another locksmith?

Given (from your .sig) that you have precisely the same rig I do, I know this can be done.
I suspect your locksmith was thinking about taking the handle off the door and changing out the entire lock body from the rear, in which case his statement makes sense. But these locks are made so you can just pop out & swap out the core portions, easy as pie, without so much as touching a screwdriver or even opening the door.
The handle lock is "mastered" for dealer service (you'll notice an M engraved on the front plate) and the deadbolt lock fits only one key, so you have to order one of each core.

The “M” is actually for the lock “series”. I have a ring of master keys, and there is an alphabet of series.
The “m” series is for Global and FIC, tri Mark is a totally separate animal.

Replaced all the outside storage locks with round keys from Amazon.
Tubular Cam Lock with 7/8" Cylinder and Chrome Finish, Keyed Alike 4 Pack with 2 Keys, 1 1/4" Cam and Offset Cam by Westway.

Took a flat saline 14 ply tire off the camper in the middle of the desert and loaded on the Buggie to have it repaired in Quartzsite at a whopping price of 25 dollar’s.

Storage locks & carpet
Replace the storage door locks with barrel locks. Should be a little more secure now in storage.
Put carpet wraps on the steps, dog didn't like the alum surface.

I finally swapped out my 12-volt battery for two 6 volt golf cart battery's that I purchased from Sams Club. I put them in a battery case that holds both together and cut hole then vented them just like it was on the 12-volt case. The six-volt batteries are big.
