2020 Avalanche Storage Door Leak
My 2020 Keystone Avalanche kept leaking around the driver side storage compartment door. It had leaked enough to weaken the floor which I will have to repair. I changed the seal thinking that was the problem. Still leaked. Found water leaking through the bottom key latch. Sealed that. Still had a leak. Finally realized that the doors have 3 drain holes drilled in the bottom of the door. Problem was that this door had the drain holes drilled in the top! The door had been installed with the drain holes in the top. I plugged the holes with small screws coated with silicone. I then drilled 3 drain holes in the bottom. When I did water drained out of the door. Anyway, I think that has solved my problem. Oh, and if you confront a Keystone dealer about warranty they will ask you if you brought your new RV in every 6 months for leak tests and if you didn't you voided your warranty! So now I get to replace the flooring in my storage compartment myself. CHECK YOUR STORAGE DOORS !
