Thumbs up Camp Fire In A Can

Came across this product. Camp Fire In A Can Excellent idea with all the fire bans we seem to have during the summer and also the number of places that don't allow fire pits (especially the RV parks/resorts down south). Looking forward to being able to have a campfire on those cool winter nights down south.

I'd look into this a little more closely before buying it. I'm pretty sure that the fire bans include ALL open flames, other than BBQ's. And in that picture, there is CLEARL an open flame.

We purchased a similar "portable propane camp fire" and found out that some campsites that are in areas of burning bans do not allow any type of open flame. As was indicated in the above post, you may be disappointed if you are expecting to be able to use it wherever you camp.

WOW THAT'S SOMTHING ABOUT THEFIRE BANS. WE CAMP IN UPSTATE NEW YORK WE CAN HAVE A FIRE BUT WE MUST BUY THE WOOD FROM THE CAMPGROUND.SEEMS THERE IS A BUG THAT CAME IN FROM CHINA THAT DESTROYS PINE TREES IN SHORT ORDER. SO IT LOOKS LIKE EVER SECTION OF THE COUNTRY HAS SOME ISSUES. WE ARE HITTING MID 30'S AT NIGHT CAMPFIRE FELLS GREAT! BUT IT LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE HAD SO GOOD RAIN MAYBE THEY WILL LIFT THE BAN! STAY WARM
