Question Water pressure

When I first got this 2007 Springdale about 3 months ago and connected the water hose from our well, the pressure at the toilet and faucets was good. Now there has been an abrupt shift, the pressure is weak. Filling the toilet with the foot lever used to take 1~2 seconds, now it barely dribbles in, and takes about 15 secs (to get a couple inches of water over the valve). I disconnected the hose and there is some kind of plastic pin with a spring in the trailer connection of the hose. It looks like it is broken, then spring comes right out. Could this be the culprit, and what is it?

There is a back flow preventer in the inlet. Sounds like it came apart or broke. Check the internet. $10-$20 for a new inlet. Amazon and eBay carry them.

Thanks, Bob. I guess I'll take loose the small panel that the inlet connection passes through & see about replacing that.
