Whole lot of shaking going on!

We are having trouble getting our 2012 Premier stabilized. We have sections of 6x6 wood posts stacked under the stabilizers, but the camper still rocks like crazy when someone walks through. Any tips out there? Help! Thanks for your time.

What are you using to chock the tires? I've had great results using the BAL Xchocks myself. A step support will help with entering/exiting the camper. Also had the BAL lock arm stabalizers on a previous camper that worked out well. I'm sure others will chime in soon.

Best thing I can tell you is.... it sits on rubber tires,wheels, and springs... Not pier and beam or slab.. it's gonna rock and roll a bit...

Seriously, no matter how much money you throw at it, it will still move when someone walks around in it.. maybe less... but still..

Try these on the frame near the wheels. Helped stabilize our TT.

I put a set of steady fast stabilizers on my trailer... huge difference

I also have a set of fastway one-step chocks.

Things are noticeably calmer with this setup, the DW can no longer stir her coffee by having me walk around

I made a set of these. They work well on my trailer. not hard to make. I made mine just like the ones from Hewitt with a few changes. They could be made out of a 2x4.

Friends put the JT Strongarms on their trailer and it made a huge difference.

Only prevents side to side! J.T. Strongarms prevents side to side and front to back! The Hewitt cost $210 JT’s can be bad for about $229.

I have three sets, one for the steps for fore and aft movement works pretty good. I only have $53 invested. $35 of that was four new ratchet straps in orange, plus paint. I'm a retired welder with lots of scrap. I don't bother with the jacks, they do nothing.

I went with the BAL Lock Arm stabilizers rather than the JTs simply because the cost was less. You can get two sets (of two) of the Lock Arms for about $150. They have performed great on my camper and made a huge reduction in the amount of movement.
