Running Two AC's??

Afternoon. So, I have a Keystone Hideout 308BHDS and it came with one AC unit, 13,500 btu I believe, and 50 Amp service. Now, my rig was pre-wired for a second AC unit.

My problem: I am a river rat and camp in Arizona in the middle of summer, 110+ degrees. The one AC unit cannot keep up and I am shooting 50/50 for campsite with 50 Amp service. The other half are 30 Amp. Good news, I am going to pony up and buy a second AC unit before my next trip.

Question: If I am at a site with a 30Amp service, usually they also have a 15Amp plug. Can I use a Y-Splitter to then get 15 and 30 Amp? Split the 50 into two 30's? Then a 30 into a 15?

Thanks for any help! I wanna try to stay cool when it is burning up outside, oh and help my food not spoil in the heat. Hahaha. Thanks again.

You could try the Y but I would use one like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Lavolta-Split.../dp/B075PZRS29

I've not seen any peds that have 2 30A plugs on the same side for the same site. The one you linked would require another adapter to reduce one of the 30A plugs to 15A.

Some say they have used this configuration with success; I have not. I would be looking for a 50A site to avoid surprises.

I had considered this in the past, but it will not work if the 15A on the power pedestal is a GFI outlet. Here's part of the item description:

This Lavolta product is a polarized adapter designed for use with recreational vehicles (RVs). It must only be used with appropriate power supplies and properly sized circuit breakers. Will not work with a GFI type outlet.

I'm still not sure how a pigtail with 2 30A plugs will help when there is only 1 30A plug on a ped per site that I've seen (unless you use another adapter from the 2nd 30A plug to reduce to 15A). I've also never seen a 15A GFI plug in a ped. Usually they look like a regular plug and the breaker is a regular breaker so that shouldn't be an issue.

Several parks will not allow the 30/15 Y. Plus as stated it won't work if GFCI protected.
