Greetings from Texas
We are retired and want to full time while looking for our last hometown. We have a 2011 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew, 3.7 V-6, with a 6 speed auto trans, 2WD. The manual says our tow limit is 5700 lbs and combined weight limit is 11,600 lbs.
We like the Cougar 19RBEWE with the King Bed. We can't seem to find it here in Texas.
I know the truck doesn't have the power of others but we'll be full time about a year until we find our final retirement home, but will keep the RV afterwards for occasional traveling.
Changing trucks is not an option and we want a King Bed. It's just the two of us and our 17lb Shih Poo, Patches McGee.
Any and all advice and insight is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum from Kansas City, MO! Glad you're here!
When considering numbers, look at the stickers specifically on your truck. Not the manual. The manual is a best case scenario and for a stripped down model. The stickers are what your trucks capacities really are.

Welcome from Central Texas! Those stickers he's referring to are most likely in the door jam on the drivers side. You can learn a lot from them as to the capacities of your pickup.

Twopeas, the first trailer I looked at online has a king bed: http://www.bretzrv.com/--xInventoryD...inventory-link
Call 'em, deal with 'em and make a four day week-end out of it. There are lots of them out there, believe me!

On another topic, we're looking for a mail service. I was gonna use the UPS Store but someone said that legally they are not residential addresses when it comes to Medicare, vehicle insurance, etc. I just checked the Good Sam site and didn't see mail service. I know about Escapees but are they okay for Medicare and vehicle insurance? We want to keep Texas our home state.

My Dad used the Escapees Livingston TX address for everything for 10+ years before bought property in TX. I think you'll be ok using one of their services. There are others but I have no personal experience with them.
