Excited to join the club

Hi.

My name is Mike, my beautiful wife Dianna.

We've camped all our lives. As a kid in a Shasta, then tents, tent trailers, camp (cottage or cabin to some), then a tent trailer, then a different camp, then a bigger tent trailer. Well, been getting a bit serious with the surf fishing and the tent trailer just wasn't cutting the ocean mist so we just bought a 2017 Keystone Passport Elite 19RB.

Got it licenced yesterday. Lots of laughs and pretty excited. Dianna called it a castle to the licence guy.

Looking forward to reading the posts on this forum. Already cruising them for info on wheel torque, now gonna go look at leveling the RV.

CYA soon

Mike and Diane

Congrats! I'm sure you will enjoy it. When we moved up to our Bullet from a pop up, my girls now call it glamping instead of camping...

We appreciated all the friendly hellos!
I'm not sure how to answer individual reply posts?
Anyway, Michigan or Ontario from notanlines? Both. My wife is American, from Detroit, now is Sault Michigan, with residency in On. I'm in Sault On.

LOL. That is hilarious that you would say castle on wheels. That is exactly what Dianna called it at the licencing bureau.

Good to know they call em cabins in BC. In northern On it is camps, southern On, cottages... Michigan, cabins.

New RV Warranty Question

Hi Again. Mike here.
With our RV, like others there are a number of appliances you can warranty beyond the two years. Do you think any of the following are worth the cost to add to the two year warranty for an additional three years, (from 2 to 5)? Or for the most part do folks not have problems with these appliances? Thanks!!!!!
1. AC. + $109.90
2. Fridge $169.90
3. Water Heater $45.00
4. Furnace $25.00
5. Range $15.00

Oh, btw, bought an EMS-HW30C RV Electrical Management System after researching it on this forum. $228.00! Seemed like a no-brainer to me.

Thanks again.
