Howdy, new Cougar xlite 28RKS owner

Hello all,
Just joined, as me and the wife bought a new Cougar Xlite 28RKS.
Will be picking it up Saturday.
I am driving a Titan XD 5.0 Cummins, with a factory gooseneck setup.
Because of that, the salesman recommended the Reese Goosebox, and I agreed as long as there are no clearance issues,
It was either that or the Andersen Ultimate.
Both free up the bed so I do not think I can lose either way, and the Goosebox does have the airbag in it.
I am still stressing a little about the GooseBox possibly not giving me enough clearance.

My Knowledge of fifth wheeling is limited, as we have been driving an nice little 89 Winnie Chieftain for several years. It was the perfect vehicle for testing out the camping thing, as I only paid 5K, and anything new loses more than that in depreciation the first year
Now we are ready for something a little nicer, and towable for us, and my 3 great danes, plus 2 other normal sized dogs. The Cougar Xlite 28RKS seems perfect with all the open floor space. The only thing we did not get that we wanted was a King bed, but i think I can correct that if needed.

Welcome to the forum, it's our quiet little corner of the interwebs. We have a lot of veteran folks here when it comes to camping knowledge, towing knowledge, and all sorts of good info to go along with it.

Welcome to the forum. I suspect you need a much larger trailer than the 28RKS with 3 Great Danes and 2 regular dogs.....they need a trailer of their own. My son has one Great Dane and he would take up 1/2 of the living space in a 28' trailer
