Sheets and Stuff
My Raptor claims to feature a King sized Bed in the Master Bedroom. Yeah, right ! OK, so where do I go to find 'Short' King Sized fitted sheets that fit ?

Re: Sheets and Stuff
Are you talking about a regular king or a California King (which is about 4" longer than a regular King)?
Some here have used those clip on straps for the corners to keep an oversized sheet in place. I also found that the knit type sheets tend to shrink up a bit more and will be more flexible in fit. You could also try Amazon or even a specialty mattress shop.

Re: Sheets and Stuff
+1 for Murphsmom. The custom fitted sheets for RV mattresses are $$$!
Many RV mattresses are shorter to allow for more "move around the bed" room. A full length would be a really tight fit to walk around, even with a slider. Lying down, even at 6'4", I don't have a length problem.
We use the garter elastics, to take up the slack at the pillow end of the bed. It hides better that way. LOL
Good Luck,

Re: Sheets and Stuff
If you do really want short King sheets, or just to look at them and prices, AB Lifestyles seems to have soft sheets. We like ours anyways. Their site is http://www.ablifestyles.net

Re: Sheets and Stuff
Our king size mattress is 72" X 80", and has 12" radius corners at the foot end. We just had a new mattress custom made, all latex foam with different density layers, with the same dimensions, and we just use standard king size sheets. They aren't a perfect fit, but work well enough for us. One company that I found, and I'm sure there are others that custom make bed linens, is http://customlinensdirect.com/

Re: Sheets and Stuff
We just use the elastic garter straps on ours as well, keeps everything pulled tight and easy/cheap to use.
A better question is where do you find a comforter that actually stays on the bed. Every RV we have ever owned the comforters seem to slide off and end up on the floor. I don't know how they make those things, but gravity seems to have a greater effect on them than other comforters.

Re: Sheets and Stuff
Brent,
Our OEM bedspread was something out of a "silken home décor "junk" store" and looked "trashy" to us. Additionally, it was dry clean only, something that doesn't make any sense for use in a camper. We bought a microfiber bedspread from Amazon that has "heat stitched embroidery" on it. While everyone has different tastes and what looks good to one person is "yecht" to another, we found this one is easy to throw in the washer, doesn't slip off the bed (our biggest complaint with the OEM) and is light enough to actually use when sleeping.

Re: Sheets and Stuff
That's definitely an upgrade we have to make. I'll let the DW make the decision on which one, apparently I have poor taste in that stuff.

Re: Sheets and Stuff
A quilt or comforter with cotton flannel on the back will stay on the bed far easier than those polyester things.

Re: Sheets and Stuff
Any of you have a solution for the Happy Jack Bunk Beds setup with dual "Queens"? They are 10" longer than a standard queen and there aren't sheets standaredly made to fit them. Width is fine but lenght a big deal . . .
