2017 avalanche leaking water by hitch
Help! Last night we left the bathroom faucet on. Grey tank filled up and water was flowing from hitch onto ground. Where was the water coming from and what do we need to do.....other than cry? How did it get from grey tank up to the front by hitch?

Did the sink over flow and run to the front of the RV? Then found a place to leak out in the front of the rig.run a fan and maybe the ac to try and dry it out.

It was dry in the shower area. Only water in sink.

I think the water overflowed from the washer drain and found a path to exit at the hitch. The washer drain, sink and shower likely drains into the same tank. The shower has a backflow preventer that prevents a water or gas backup and the washer drain possibly is slightly lower than the sink rim.
If you have the washer installed you may want to check for dampness by the drain.

True hepvO drain. Oater vent may have failed some were at a lower line or a loose gray water pipe leaking more water then what was coming in .

I just can't ignore the elephant in the room;
How did anyone leave a "faucet" in an RV on overnite? To the point it overfilled the holding tank??

Well.....My HUSBAND didn’t turn the handle all the way closed. AC runs right above the bed so I didn’t hear it running. It was only about two hours until neighbors were knocking on our door.......

The first order of business is to get rid of the water.
I would lower the nose as far as possible to drain as much water as possible, and dry everything out with a wet vac, and fans.
Good Luck,

I have heard on other forums that it is not uncommon for there to be a lack of sealing where the vent pipe meets the grey/black tanks. It's possible your leak is from there.
