Solar install on my new Fuzion 427

Hi all,

I am going to install (4) 100 watt solar panels on my new toy hauler. Although Keystone says I don't have the pre-wire solar package, I have found the Jaboni solar connector on the roof, and have found where the wires terminate. They come down in the large storage compartment and are butt connected to another pair of cables which run to the batteries. That butt connection is the obvious place to install the solar controller. In addition, where the solar cables are butt connected, there is a very small connector which looks like a PC fan connector. I assume this is the cable for the remote panel that would install inside the camper. Does anyone know where that cable goes? I have called Keystone and they don't have answers. I've emailed Jaboni Power Products and they have not responded. Anybody dealt with this???

Thanks in advance,

Chuck

Chuck, any luck figuring this out? I have a 2019 369 and have the same setup. It looks like the “PC Fan” cable goes under my stairs. Haven’t traced it from there yet.

Your on the right track . It sounds like it could be used for on off switch for inverter or volt meter. Have you found both ends of the mystery cable?

GoPower has 190W panels, and you can get a complete kit. Install is easy Peazy, ask me, Ive done too many to count.

We drill a hole in the roof, use the available “entry plate” so it’s clean and cover with Dicor. Just open a wall to drop the cables then through the belly to the front compartment.

Were you able to locate and finish your solar install? I too have a 369, and need any advice I can get as I start the layout, before i buy things like batteries, controller, monitor, panels, inverter. Since you are full time, what did you use?

Yes I did. I went with 200W Renogy and just two 12V batteries. It’s not enough for this big trailer. Upgraded to 400W and two 6V. The furnace would hurt the batteries and I don’t think 200W was enough to really charge those batteries up into the 14+V range.

With the plug and play already routed system on Fuzion I just saw which one went up and knew the other went to the battery system.
