No pantry? (bullet 286QBS) Where do you put your food items?

We will probably be signing for a Bullet 286QBS later today. My only concern is that there is no pantry.

We are having them install cabinet doors under the dinette to be able to access the storage under there easier. I might put pantry items under there...not really sure, though. My thought is that if there are canned goods and such in the overhead areas, things could fall out of them when they are opened.

What do you (or would you) do for pantry storage when there is no actual pantry?

Thanks in advance!!

We had the same issue with our last unit and we stored food items in the under bed staroge area. I boxed off an section for food. This was a 24 ftr.

I hope that helps

Thanks. I hate to have to run all the way over to the bed (as though it is really that far. LOL) to get food items when cooking. There's gotta be a good solution.

What about the overhead cabinets on the slide? Or am I thinking of a different floorplan?

There are lots of over head compartments, but they are deep and things are not easily accessible. I ended up buying a few tubs to put up there to label and pull out. Still won't be as easy as using a "pantry" where you can easily see everything though.

Thanks.

Even with our deep pantry, we still need to use tubs. Although, adding lights to the pantry made a world of difference.
