Wheel XChocks
2018Bullet 287 QBS Looking to get measurement for between the wheels. Mine is in storage kinda cold yet in Minnesota
Want to buy XChocks or similar...any advise or recommendations??

Xchocks are not meant to fully replace standard wheel chocks because the can be rotated out from between the tires. Granted, it would have to be pretty severe torque to do it. I have one I really don't use any more because I have the Ground Control auto leveling system now and only need to chock when I unhook. I found the Xchock really did not do all that much to take out movement in the trailer when walking around inside. If you are looking to reduce movement while in the trailer I would go with JT Strongarms on the stabilizer jacks.

I use a pair of X chocks. I set them pretty tight and they made a huge difference on my old 36’ fiver
JT strongarms are a nice product, and there is another brand I can’t think of right now.

Lippert bought out JT Strongarm. There are at least two other products:
BAL Lock Arm Stabilizers and Steadyfast RV Stabilizer System.
All are available on Amazon and almost every RV "online website".

Your Bullet has wide spaced axles. If buying x-chocks, please be aware that they make two varieties, one for standard spacing and one for wide spacing. I bought two over the holiday as Amazon warehouse deals. Looking forward to using them on a big AZ and UT trip coming up at the end of March. They have good reviews. Many reviewers said to get one for each side for maximum stability. Here's the link...

Xchocks made a big difference to the stability of our TT. Before I got them, the DW complained continuously about me walking around while she was in bed. Now that we've got the chocks, not a peep!
They don't help with sideways movement, but really damp down the fore/aft stuff.

I totally agree. I usually don't use them for overnights while on the road but more then a day or 2 and they make a huge difference in comfort.

We had a 2017 21RBS and can't say that I noticed any stability problem. With the corner jacks down it seemed good. We now have a 22RBS that we haven't taken possession of yet. Not sure if it has all four electric corner jacks or not. Some literature says just the two rear (mandatory), some seems to indicate all four. Wait and see.

We too use the Chocks on the 316RL and feel as though there is a difference when walking around. We also have the Jt Strong-arms in the rear and I'm looking to install the BAL on the front stabilizers since they seem pretty straight forward to install plus, despite the Chocks, I still feel like there is still some horizontal movement when walking about in the coach. I realize I can't eliminate all the movement, but at the cost of BAL stabilizers, I think it's worth the chance that I can reduce it even further.

There are two sizes of BAL X-chocks. You need the X-tended model. I also installed JT Strong Arms and upgraded the scissor stabilizer jacks and that addressed most of the movement. But you will always have some movement

X-Chocks- One of the best accessories we bought. Removed almost all of the wiggle. BAL lock arms on front and rear stabilizers as well, but the x chocks did most of the work.

I really have to laugh at people who go to extremes to get rid of what amounts to a very small amount of movement in a trailer, I hardly notice much movement at all and if there is any, so what it’s a trailer not a house on a cement foundation, if that amount bothers you, you would not be happy on my 32ft sailboat.

Not to change the subject but people that use the Anderson orange buckets under your landing gear.....that seems like it would make it less stable. They market it as reducing sway but I would rather have my gear on solid ground.

I installed JT Strongarms, Rear scissor jacks, and still use XChocks.
This in addition to my 4 point electric auto level system.
Love them all!

We must consider the length of the trailer and the interior set-up and personal preference when talking about what is or isn’t acceptable movement. We have two bunks in the very rear and our queen bed at the very front and two 50 lb. bulldogs in between. The items I mentioned in my earlier post resolved our issues in our situation.
For what it’s worth, I spent a good part of my life on sailing vessels for extended periods of time and trailer movement and boat movement are nothing alike. I will take boat movement any day.

Been using X chocks for years and love them. They are a lot less expensive then the strong arm system. The strong are system is good but a little more work and money.
