Lightbulb Jumpin' IN

Name is Steve, wife's is Robin. Two boys 7 & 15.... Had a popup for three years, sold it when the construction bottomed out locally in 2008, been frothing at the mouth to get back to camping since.

Just picked up a Passport 3180RE... gonna do some mods, post some pics, ask some questions and hopefully help out some others on the way. Oh, and gonna camp my butt off, as much as my time off allows!

I'm a master electrician by trade...and currently a lighting technician...(company to remain anonymous due to restrictions)

in advance for all warm welcomes, that I've seen so many others have received.

Thanks Antiqfreq! I just can't wait until March 29...we'll be taking the first voyage out to Myrtle Beach for 5 days.... At this point, even IF minor things go wrong for a first trip out in 4 yrs of waiting, we will still have a great time. We've tried to take every step in making sure we have done all the right things to make this first trip go smoothly as possible. (I can assume a quick trip to Wally world will be inevitable for anything we surely forgot to pack hahaha)

Welcome to the forum. We too have the 3180RE and love it. We bought an air mattress that my 12 yr. old boy sleeps on and my 8 yr. old girl sleeps on the couch. We love having the large living area to sit and watch movies or play our Wii. It is also nice for when we have visitors when the weather isn't so cooperative for sitting around the campfire. Enjoy and if you come up with some great mods. let me know.

We bought a large ottoman that we keep in the entertainment area. It actually holds a fold-up single bed that we use to increase sleeping capacity.
