First "boondocking" in the new Passport.

Heading out to Angel Peak Recreation area about 30 miles from home here in New Mexico. We camped there in our old Class C about 10-15 years ago. The kids were small then..this year my wife and I are "empty nesters".

This will be our first "dry camp" expedition in the new Passport, so it's a "shakedown cruise" for boondocking in this thing. Batteries charged. Propane full. Fresh water tank full. Plenty of food and ingredients for cocktails. Burn ban is lifted so a campfire is in order. Two nights out there and really looking forward to it!

Hope you have a blast! Nothing beats being "out there" with nothing but the sounds of nature and a nice fire.

Good didn't make my mistake and go on a long journey and use the heater run the batters dead where the generator won't start. That happened to me at quartzsite rv show . I went out and purchased the 2000 watt eco champion generator. I ordered 500 watts of solor panels to replace the champion generator that's been excellent and quit.
