Which TT models have 60x80 queen bed??

I really like the Passport 2670bh. But I am looking at all my options. It seems the Hideout has the shorter bed. Not positive. Any experts have a list of models with the normal queen bed??

Thx

Not sure if a list like that exists, but it may be worth a call to Keystone to ask. Then be sure to share what you learn as I am sure others have wondered this also. Good luck.

Go to keystonerv.com. Look at the models you are interested in. There is a floorplan of every model including standard bed size and options for each model.

Keystone's website will list models and floor plans that offer a "full size", 60x80 queen mattress. Find a floor plan you like and read the Keystone's description. Usually, it will be mention if the coach has a 60x80 queen. This is something that a manufacturer will broadcast to create a "want" among prospective buyers. On the other hand, a short rv queen (60×74) model may not list the mattress size as the manufacturer will emphasis other notable features. It's all marketing in the end. If you find a unit that does not include mattress dimensions, you can call Keystone customer service to verify what is standard. The Bullet line generally offers a RV queen where as the Passports offer a residential queen.

Busterbrown is correct. We were going to buy a Bullet until I laid down in the bed. I'm glad I did because it was terrible and I'm only 6'1". So we bought a Passport with the full size queen.

It was just the opposite for me. I had my eye on a Passport version of my Bullet because of the larger bed. But after walking through both, on the same dealer lot, the Bullet offered so much more storage and pantry space, aluminum rims, and a solid sliding door to the bunkhouse. I reaalized that I could just add a 6 inch foam insert to the head of the bed that was the same width and thickness of the mattress and lay down a 60x80 mattress topper. Worked well for over a year now, but I did lose the 'walk around' space in front of the bed.

Well probably upgrade to a full size queen next year.

It is possible to order the trailer of your choice and have them leave off the mattress. You don't get much of a credit, but remember you don't get much of a mattress either.

I noticed my Premier had an RV queen after I pulled the factory matress and slid in my residential pillow top queen. It hung over the foot of the bed a decent bit more. I had to cut a new, slightly longer piece of plywood for the under the bed storage cover. The mattress is fully supported now, but shimmying by the foot of the bed to get to the far side is more tricky.

Our Springdale 202QBWE has a full 60x80, and access on both sides, which is important to consider to avoid climbing over another person.

When we bought our used Hideout we swapped the shorter queen bed for the full length queen in our fiver that we traded. The dealer had no problem with that. We still have room to get around three sides of the bed.

For what it's worth, all the Cougar travel trailers I've looked at this year have "king" size beds.
