Just a little addition, we used Dish for years n numerous (well 2) other RV’s we owned and never had an issue hooking up to the “outside” connection and feed the coax throughout the RV. We now have a 35’ Sprinter 5er and no matter what I did the sat would not work. After much testing of the Satelite system only (dish, receiver and tv) I found that if you have more than 50’ of coax TOTAL in the system the receivers do not have enough juice to push th signal. So with all the extra feet of cable in th big RV it wouldn’t work. Also every splitter cuts the signal to maybe a little above half. BTW mine was behind the wall plate with the booster button for the antenna. Big gaggle of coax crammed in the wall and actually 2 splitters. I no longer have any satellite service or cable from anyone.
It or they (splitters) are behind one of those wall plates.

Just my $.02
