Try battery + and battery - jumpers straight to the fixtures just to prove lights themselves. Ground shouldn't normally be a problem because you're probably "frame grounded", based on your set-up, but some aftermarket fixtures require a separate ground wire, because of the possibility of fiberglass mounting points. By running 12v power straight to lights with independent 12v +/- leads, you prove the light fixtures themselves. If the lights work, the problem is trailer wiring, if not the problem is the lights themselves.
You can double check your leads with a multi-meter, or test probe with a known good bulb to prove 12 volts to the trailer bulbs.
