Vantage 29RLS - New Member - Interior 4Inch LED Replacement

Hi There,

I tow a Vantage 29rls with a Ford F150 V8 with the towing package.

I bought the camper new in 2013, from Camping World in Bath NY and drove it home to CA. This was my first ever time towing anything.

If you were delayed around the raceway RV Park in Bristol Tn on July 4th weekend in 2013, it was my fault.

Apart from that the cross country trip was spectacular.

Regarding replacing the interior LED's I can share a couple of things that I got from Keystone phone call today:

1. The interior lights are shaped like hockey pucks, with a white translucent light cover surrounded by a grey locking ring.

2. The translucent white light cover has to be pried off, I used the blade of a pocket knife to remove mine.

3. The LED is a 4 Inch Panel type LED with some other electronics attached. It supposedly is defined in Keystone as a 12v 4" LED from Command Electronics.

4. I could not find a LED replacement on Amazon or Google. I am trying to get one now from Keystone.

If anyone knows if I can use an alternate replacement I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you had quite the shakedown trip. Do I dare aske what happened in TN?

Please be careful of using a knife for anything other than what it is made for, cutting. It is easy to slip, the Boy Scout in me could not let that go.
