Hello from Ventura, Ca

Hi everyone,
We're heading to Simi Valley RV to do our walk through of a 266RLSSR they have on the lot. I'm pretty sure the DW will love it, and we're trading in our 2004 Trailmanor 2720. We've already booked a trip to Casitas Lake next weekend and Jalama Beach in June.

Joe, Welcome to the forum and to Keystone Rving. If you haven't left yet for your walkthrough, you might want to check out the PDI checklist in the KEYSTONE QUESTIONS section of the forum. It will help guide you through the many things that need to be checked before towing any RV away from the dealership.

Enjoy your new RV and those trips that are already planned. We hope to hear from you often.

John

It sounds like you're all set to enjoy the new trailer.

I definitely need to visit Lake Casitas. My parents (in Ojai) keep wanting us to go to Casitas with them so the grandkids can enjoy raft ride. Which camping section did you reserve? So many choices…

Casitas

Hello Scott,
We usually camp in Fox (there's water/elec and water/elec & sewer sites there), and if they are booked, Egret has water/elec sites. In Fox we like 14 if you want full hook ups, and 13 with partial hook ups. That whole area is really cool though! They're upgrading the Bass campsites with cement pads, so they are all closed right now. I haven't stayed in that section, but it's a good spot too (water/elec and I think they're adding sewer to some of them.)

Thanks! I'm sure my parents will push for another try at the water park this summer.
