Space was quite limited in my 24' 5er, so I installed a $120 Eureka Yellow Jacket in the otherwise unusable high ceiling of the front storage compartment. Ran about 8 feet of 2" rigid plastic conduit from there to an opening in the bedroom step. A 30-foot stretch hose and wand retracts neatly into the conduit when not in use.

That thread is 5 years old. You might want to post a new thread. We use a Shark. It breaks down, goes under the bed, very powerful and takes up limited space.

We have a shark for the house and love it. Need to buy one for the TT. Right now I vacuum before we leave and when we get back. Use the old fashion broom while camping.

We use a small Shop-vac with attachments so we can also vacuum truck when needed. Fits at bottom of storage cabinet and sometimes gets taken out around home for jobs where the bigger Shop-vacs are too bulky.

Same here. Plus, it's right there to vacuum out the truck as needed.

We have the Shark Rocket (corded). It works great! I can remove the brush head and tube and attach the short tube and clean out the truck and storage areas of the RV.

When not in the RV, we use it in our home.

We like the Dyson products. We had a 3yr old V6 model cordless that we used for light cleaning around the house and really liked the way it performed.
Just upgraded that to a "V8 Animal" model and we like it even better.
The V6 got a permanent home in the 5er.
They are Pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for, in this case at least.

We use a Dyson even though we also have a built in vac in the RV that's never been used, GF likes the Dyson so well she uses it at the house when were not camping.

I use the Dyson V7 cordless in my 5er. also works great in the truck. Comes with the beater bar, crevasse tool and 2 different brush heads, Recharges in 30 minutes. Sure does make cleaning both a breeze.

I use a Ryobi 18v handheld vacuum for my trailer, uses the same battery as my Ryobi drill and compressor/ Inflater, also 5in saw and string trimmer, I have 3 batteries and 2 chargers so can change out for fresh ones if doing a longer job, I’m very impressed with this tool system and plan on adding more tools in the futur.

Also have a Rocket, for the money probably the best vacuum we've ever owned. Boy does it SUCK!

I have a lot of milwaukee 18 volt batteries and bought one of their small vacuums to go with it, works well for me

Also have their fans that will run off 18volt battery or 110 and those are great

My Alpine came with a useless Rechargeable Dirt Devil. Fortunately I removed the Central Vac System from rv i traded it for and I installed it on the Alpine. Works great.

We had a Dirt Devil on the last 5er - and found that it was just a bit better then useless even with extra hose length and the power brush. This one - we have a hand held Shark for day to day pickup as well as a Hoover Stick. Between the two, the 5er stays clean

This was by far one of the best things we've purchased for our RV. Works like a champ, even with dog hair. And I actually like the fact that it's corded. Never have to worry about dead batteries.
