You have made the right choice. If you went to lots of campgrounds as I have, and used a multimeter to check the power peds (which I used to do before I got the EMS), you would be astonished at what is and isn't there in many of them. Good luck on getting it installed.

Good decision! They're not too bad to install. I went with the Surge Guard because I liked the display better.Click image for larger version

Yesterday I was adjusting my WDH and got everything leveled. My truck front and rear both lowered about 1/2” with the trailer. Does that sound correct?

According to the manual with my E4 hitch.

1. Measure front height
2. Hook up trailer with no weight bars
3. Measure front height
4. Aim for the same height, but no less then 50% back.

EX.
No trailer - 38"
Tailer hooked no WD - 40"

Aim for as close to 38" but no less then 39"

I didn’t measure without the bars when trailer was hooked up. I got 40 1/2” fronts and 40 3/4” rear without trailer and after hooking up trailer with bars, I got 40” front and 40 1/4” rear.

I think it is important to follow the manufacture instructions like dabbill mentioned. It’s important to have the weight distribution set up properly, including enough weight on the hitch, to help prevent sway and other problems. I would suggest against adjusting the set up “off the cuff”. JMHO, YMMV.

So yesterday I was about to install LED lights where my awning is but I’m having a short somewhere and my awning fuse keeps popping when extracting or retracting the awning. I have to almost fully open or close when the fuse pops. I scheduled an appointment but it won’t be till end of July for them to check it out. Will installing the EMS void my warranty? I’m taking the TT out next week and want to have the EMS installed.
