DSI & Propane

I just switched out propane tanks this weekend. The DSI fault light has been on and off intermittently, and the stove isn't lighting properly (very little flame on the highest setting). Any ideas what's going on? Didn't have any issue before changing tanks, and I've unhooked and rehooked it several times.

Turn off the propane, Remove the pigtails. Wait 30 seconds and reattach the pigtails. Turn the propane on SLOWLY. Try the stove and if you get strong flames then turn the water heater back on.

I suspect your safety valves in the pigtails shut off the LP because you turned it on too fast.

I have good flame on the stove now. I turned the water heater back on, and the DSI fault light is back on too. I'm assuming that's because it was turned off, and the pilot light just needs to ignite?

The DSI light will remain lit until the burner has been lit, then it turns off when the flame is sensed. Also, there is not a pilot light on the water heater or furnace, but the electronic system lights the burners each time heat is called for.

The little red idiot light for the water heater is kind of counter intuitive.

Kind of like the on/off switch in the lower corner
