Griddle & Hotpoint Mini-Fridge Power
I'm looking at the 2023 Cougar Half-Ton 23MLE.
It has an Outside Griddle and Hotpoint Mini-fridge.
Are they 120 Volt?
If YES, are they in an "Inverted" Outlet?
Or are they 12 Volt.
I'm guessing 120 Volt.
Thanks,
Phil

I'm pretty sure they will both be 120 volts. Your battery wouldn't last very long running any heating appliance like a griddle, and it might even be gas instead of electric.

My son has an outdoor kitchen with griddle and fridge. Not sure all are created equal, however, his outside fridge is 120v only and griddle is gas.

We have a 2023 Cougar 23MLE also. The griddle is gas. The mini fridge is 120 volt electric and mine is connected to my inverter.

Thank you so much.
I LOVE the layout and features of the 23MLE.
My wife and I are short people, so the RV Queen does not worry me.
She is just 5 feet. I am 5 feet 6 inches.
In ROAD MODE, with the slides in, it appears you could still use the cooktop. True or Not?
Thanks,
Phil

I don't see how one could Safely use the cooktop with the slide-out in travel position.

When the slide is retracted, the slide sidewall sits directly in front of the cooktop. With your admission that your DW is 5' and you are 5'6", I'd suspect that neither of you have arms "long enough" to reach around the slide sidewall, over the sink and behind the slide to safely use the cooktop with the slide in front of it....
I'd say, No, the cooktop is not usable with the slide retracted for travel.

I asked the question about the cooktop in "Road Mode" just from curiosity. In Road Mode, being able to get to almost everything else is really cool about this RV.

With the slide retracted, you can get to most everything else, but not the cooktop. It's "well hidden behind the slide sidewall. In fact, from the looks of the floorplan, a part of the sink is also behind the slide. Also, keep in mind that Keystone has a warning in the owner's manual stating that you're not supposed to walk on, sit on or step on the slide when it is retracted. The floor is not supported or braced for the additional weight and you can damage the floor or pull the fasteners holding the floor to the sidewalls away, loosening the floor from the sidewalls.
