Welcome to the forum!

We install the Furrion system on a lot of trailers with very few complaints and just about zero problems.

Trailer came pre wired for Furrion so I installed the observation back up to mine, simple job just plug and play. Kit with the bracket is cheaper from all I could find on the net. My trailer was tapped into the center running light so they need to be on for it to work. Only did a test tow and at 60mph still had 4 bars and seemed to work good. Only complaint is screen is small but being able to see behind the trailer is great.

Welcome to the forum from upstate NY. Ours Avalanche came pre-wired for a Furrion camera and I just installed the unit on ours. Looks like it will work good rear view.

Furion works well and easy to install. Wouldn’t be without one now. Just ensure the truck and camper running lights are on so you get an image. I wasted an hour trying to decide why my camera wasn’t working all of a sudden...only to notice my truck lights were off (I keep the truck set to auto-on rather than turn lights on when needed). Also installed a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to watch camper tire status. Two excellent addons.

I did the same thing. Could'nt get it to work until I realized the running lights had to be on.

Really hurts when you do something stupid, doesn’t it? Hmmm...hooked into a power source sans power....and it doesn’t turn on. “Duh factor” really high there.
