Campground near Newburg, NY

We're looking for a campground midway between our home in PA and Maine - can anyone suggest a campground near Newburg NY?

There is a nice on a bit further up the road. Brook-n-wood elizaville ny.lots to do close by. We are in h15 seasonal

Thanks! That one looks great - it's not much out of the way from Acadia . What's close by that you recommend? We're mid-60's and will have bicycles with us. May stay an extra day!

Bike ride about the camp ground is ok. But you'll need to drive to the fun stuff. Duchess county fair grounds. Winery(s) the aerodrome in old reinbeck is a blast if you like old ww1 to 1930 aircraft. Good show and if you wish they will dress you up in costumes and you can be in the ground portion of the show!. We are at the camp ground most week ends nice big deck at the camper. We are in our 60's and we have some great neighbors next to us. We like to fire up the grill and chill in the eve. The h section is mostly retired people and motor homes because it is a 50 amp section and it is away from the noise.

Newburgh is a bad area. Keep driving. Ther is a nice yogi bears in Gardiner NY. Very close to your route. Lots to do for kids, I see your older. Nice area. Stream side and a nice pond if you like to fish. Full hookups and nice roads, roomy sites if you stay out of the wooded area.
