Lansing Michigan

Trying to plan a trip to watch some minor league Baseball. Want to go and see the Lansing Lugnuts
Any ideas and advice on campgrounds in or around Lansing.

I'm not sure about the Lansing area, but I have camped in the Waterloo state park near Jackson, and their campgrounds are not bad. Jackson is about 40 minutes from Lansing.

Cottonwood in Lansing is surprisingly nice for being in the city. You don't feel like it. Brighton Rec area is very nice again about 40 mins away

Looks nice.
Are the sites and roads big enough for 38' fiver and crew cab dually?
We have never stayed at a state park, how do you go about making reservations?
Thanks

Reservations are all done online. If you type in "Michigan state parks reservations" into your search engine, you will find it.
