I agree that air bags do nothing more than level the truck & help some what with the ride loaded. That being said 95% of the F trucks need them, regardless of what they are towing, they are all squatted in the rear, those that aren't have most likely already installed bags.

Same everything basically. Similar campers. Cougar 336 bhs, Grand Designs Reflection with the same exact floor plan. Similar load. 2 adults. 3 kids. Tons of stuff. So we all hear the arguement “I’d get the 3500” “just get the 350” “ you need a 3500” etc. Air bags do work. And they do serve a purpose. And as you can see a properly equipped Chevy 2500 rides and tows a lot nicer than a dodge.
I’m thinking the pic that is worth the words is the pic of the decal on the TV door post. I’ve known a lot of “airbags” who thought they were concert pianists, but in reality they were playing chopsticks.

Not really. The brown area 10' x 12' pad was just plain concrete and I bought the composite bricks to lay on top of the concrete pad and it looks like real brick pavers....but much easier to install. They have an interlocking base that ties the entire surface together. We had that for a couple of years and decided the deck needed to be bigger.....so we had the rest of it built. I just really didn't have the time to do it between work and play (trackday weekends). I like the way it turned out with the offsetting colors and designs.

Don't get your hopes up, I'm guessing we won't see a pic of the door decal that shows the payload numbers.

Too add more fuel. I heard Cummins don’t make the Diesel engines anymore for dodge but they got to keep the name. Anybody heard this?

I don't understand what you are trying to say, but you may be confusing the medium duty engine used industry wide (marine, commercial, agricultural, etc. ) with the light duty engine now in 1500s and other FMC vehicles. To my knowledge if it says Cummins, that is who makes it. JM2˘, Hank

They're made at the Columbus Midrange Engine Plant (CMEP) just south of Cummins' world headquarters in Columbus, Ind.

The rumor of Chrysler and Cummins ending their relationship is almost as old as diesel engines in light duty trucks. It looks like the rumor is another one of those, "My brother-in-law has an uncle who knows the wife of a friend who knows someone who works at Cummins" kind of statement.....

Here's one rebuttal from a "somewhat reputable source" that says, Cummins/FCA/RAM relationship is safe: http://www.dieselarmy.com/news/cummi...-this-be-true/

He owns all kinds of trucks and hauls all kinds of stuff. He said the salesman he deals with asked him why he was dropping the Duramax and he told them it didn't have the "guts". So, thanks for the photo but I think reality trumps a photo. Others can now chime in.

And by the way, he also said the Ram rode and drove much better and the interior was so much nicer.....just sayin....
Sounds like another one of those things that everyone has...opinions. There isn’t a trailer out there right now that any of the big three TDs can’t pull without a problem as long as the pin weight is in line with the payload. If the trailer is too heavy to be towed by a 2500 or 3500 TD the pin weight will be too much to be carried. As far as the interior goes, again, opinions. Tests

My wife would kill for that pool. Thankfully, I use the excuse that we live in the NV desert with occasional airborne real estate, so she hasn’t sacrificed me...yet.
