Help ID a newly discovered handle
I have a '06 Montana 3400RL. I pulled the wheels to check the brakes today (all looked good) and discovered a handle that I have never seen. It is behind the wheels on the left side next to the sink drain pipe but the label is too faded for my old eyes. It is the same type of handle as the grey & black water handles in the garage. What does it go to?

Did you pull it? Might be you have a second grey tank (kitchen)? I do not think it could be the fresh water drain. This could be fun to discover what the handle goes to. Could be some one at Keystone is having a bit of fun with you.

You should have a Black Tank, Galley Tank for the Kitchen, and Grey tank for the shower and bathroom sink.

Didn't know about the kitchen grey tank!
Do you know what size it is? I can't seem to find any info on it.
Thanks!

How have you been draining your kitchen/galley tank?

According to the Keystone website, your 2006 Montana 3400RL has one 60 gallon fresh water tank, and 38 gallon black tank and 76 gallon gray capacity. I'd suspect that the 76 gallons is actually two 38 gallon tanks, one for the bath sink and shower and one for the galley. My guess is that the handle you've found is in the open position and the galley tank has been draining freely. Keystone regularly uses the same size tank for black and gray (and makes double the gray capacity by using two tanks).
You didn't mention how you camp, so if you're always connected to sewer when you use the trailer, you wouldn't notice any issues with the valve open and the trailer connected to a sewer. If, however, you use your trailer "dry camping", have you noticed a "gush of gray water" when you go to the dump station and remove the cap from the sewer connection?
My thoughts: The two valve handles in the garage are the bathroom gray and black tank handles and the one you found under the trailer is the galley gray tank handle.
Depending on how long you've had your trailer and how long that valve has been "unused", you may find that it's "frozen" in position and won't slide to open/close properly. A careful examination without forcing the valve handle would be your best option. If it won't move, don't try to "make it work" with force !!!!!

Excellent info! The Montana is new to us. I will do some testing tomorrow to ensure that it is not frozen and determine if it is open or close. Three tanks the same size makes sense.
Thanks!

Just to add to the confusion, my previous TT had a fresh water drain that had the same type gate valve as the black and grey did. The fresh water drain was white though.
Liked it a lot better than the mickey-mouse threaded 1/2" cap on the Cougar

Yep, the handle is for a separate grey water tank for the kitchen sink and it was FULL. We have not camped in it yet and may have run a couple of gallons at the sink. Learning something new every day!!

I love what you did with the PVC to support the sewer line We will be in one location for 3 months this winter. That will work perfectly for us!! I'm wondering if the PVC could be made to be adjustable by making the coupling one size larger than the pipe and using set-screws??

It's 1/2" PVC and nothing is glued (press fitted). I guess the upper tees and supports could be oversized to slide down higher risers with a hand set screw to lock into place. Otherwise one can adjust support height by sliding back and forth till one has the right height, as drain it pitched downhill and cutting pipe to desired height. It's inexpensive and works well if drain outlet is into a curbed island.
