Water Heater shutting off

We recently just bought a 2016 Fuzion 413. It has the water tank that can heat the water by electric or propane. Noticing on the touch screen from in-command stats that there is something wrong with it. However when you turn it back on it fire's up with no problems. I've looked over the water heater from the outside and appears everything is hooked up, nothing is loose. There is a small drip coming from the release valve at the top of the water heater.

Thank's in advance...

Even though its a new unit it still may have an issue with the control board. My Laredo was only months old when I noticed that it would fire up and after about 5 minutes would shut down not reaching temp and the fault light on the panel would come on. Worked fine on electric. Had a local dealer with a great service dept. check it out and it was a faulty board. Suburban has a 2 year warranty.

If you can't figure out the problem, I've had excellent service from Desert Mobile RV Repair, and highly recommend them. https://desertmobilerv.com/

If you find out it’s your control board that is bad, I highly recommend replacing it with a Dinosaur Electronics board. They are a lot higher quality.

A picture of the display you are seeing on t(e in command may shed some further light on your problem.. it’s working in propane mode ... what about AC mode when hooked to shore power?

We were having the exact same issue with the water heater in our 2018 Hideout FW. We replaced the control board with the Dinosaur Electronics control board and it was much better. However, we still had the occasional failure. It always seemed to start when turning it back on but was iffy later. I was told the Dinosaur Electronics support was great so I called them. The tech suggested I reset the gap of the starter electrode assembly, clean the gas tube as spiders can block the flow and make sure the burner tip was clean, I used a broom straw to clean out the burner tip. I found the gap of the starter electrode to be too close and reset that according to specs. Since then it works perfect. Dinosaur Electronics products and people are great!

I am having the same issue on my brand new 2019 Cougar 29BHS. The 6 gal water heater runs on electricity and propane. I was plugged into shore power so just turn it on with electric power. When I'm ready to take a shower, I go to turn it on to electric and propane but noticed that it was totally off. It turns back on no problem. Will stay on for a while and then turn off for no reason. No messages or anything on the in command screen.
