Head liner bowing

Hi

I have a 2018 Bullet Colt TT that is going through it's first winter.

On inspecting it this week I noticed a bow in the ceiling panel. It's only about 1 foot long and the rest of the panel on either side is flat against the ceiling.
The trailer is not heated but I do have Dri-Z-Air in the trailer and it is working the way it should.

Do you think this is a moisture problem and if I put heat in would that solve the issue before getting Keystone involved ?

Thanks for any help that can be offered.

Can you push the panel back into proper position easily and without any deformity occurring elsewhere???

If you can, I'd think it's just a couple of staples that pulled out of the roof crossmember. Easy to fix with either mirror tabs and screws or with brads/finishing nails to tack the panel back into position.

If you're still in warranty, the dealer can do that for you, although it will likely take 3 or 4 weeks to get approval/complete the job. Considering the time and effort spent to hitch, tow, unhitch, wait for the work to be done, return, hitch, tow it back home and unhitch, it's probably "hands down easier" to just fix it yourself.....

Hi John

Yes I can push it back in without deformity. The bow is just above a seam where the fabric meets the panel on a curve. The ceiling is curved as it follows up the front above the bed. Will it be all panel behind that or is there a would strip that I would put the brads into.

Thx for the quick response.

John

There are wood strips behind the panels. If you look carefully at the ceiling panels, you'll probably see the row of staples that were originally used to hold it in place. If so, consider that they "may have missed the wood strip" which would explain why the panel drooped. Do some "finger pressing exploration" and you should be able to determine where the backing strips are located.

Good Luck !!!
