217exp Battery Question

Hey all
New to the forum
How long on average does your battery last? We went to the adirondacks last year and we ran only the inside lights now and then. The fridge was running off of propane. Very minimal usage. Our battery had to be recharged every day. My cousins battery on his camper lasted for the 10 days we were there. Any thoughts? Does everyone elses battery last longer? Some places tell me that this is normal. Others tell me that it should last well over a week easy. Not sure if I have some kind of phantom draw, a short or what. I really dont want to bring a generator whenever we go off grid everytime this year.

If you only have 1 group 24 12 volt battery then a day is probably all you'll get out of it. Some dealers have also installed automotive start batteries in rvs which won't last til the chili gets hot.
Your lights, water heater/refrigerator control boards, radios & some televisions & LP/CO sensor along with a few other things that you may or may not notice all run off your 12 volt battery. Plus if you've ran your furnace any time at all it's a HUGE battery drain to run the fan.

How old is the battery? They don't last forever. As they get older their charge holding ability drops.
