Auto Start Genny

This is for my folks Fuzion, not my Alpine, but they have the In-Command with Auto Start for their Onan 5500 gen.

It’s susposed to auto start around 11.8 volts. Pops says it’s not and after 3 attempts we are getting “check gen” on the in commmad.

Pops says it’s worked before, I can’t find much to point me in the right direction.

Any ideas? He’s headed out Elk hunting trying to get him on the road this week.

So, went over turner eveyyhing on and the gen fired right up around 11.6 volts. Not sure why I wouldn’t fire for him during deer season.

He admitted that he had adjusted the carb elevation from zero up to 2500 feet, but here at home is 3300 feet so I don’t see how that should have made much difference.
