Been RV owner for number of years and was time to upgrade. Already started enjoying our new trailer and planning many more trips.

Welcome to the forum from Radium Hot Springs BC.
If you have the 2018/19 Cougar 27RESWE can you access the fridge when the slide is in.
We were looking at that model.

Our trailer says 27RES, not familiar with "we". But I do know what you are asking about, it was our concern also. I am a big ol boy and cannot fit between the dinette and kitchen cabinet with slide in. My wife is able to squeeze by to access the fridge. If I need in just slide out about a foot. One thing to watch out for is the cabinet doors at rear of living area opened with slide in and bouncing down roads, when I ran the slide out heard a loud bang when rt door hung the slide and tore the door off. Luckily only replaced hinges and did not break door or jamb in cabinet. The doors are now tied when traveling.

Thanks for the reply. "WE" indicates a Cougar built in Pendleton, Oregon. Most all RVs in this area made by Keystone come from there.

Problem with 27RES
I recently purchase a new 2019 Cougar 27RES . I went to dump the rear grey water and found it has no dump valve or handle on it. Is this normal? Never seen anything like it. Looks like a Straight pipe from the tank.
Any help
Would be appreciated.

Since you have a "rear tank", you may have a rear kitchen? On my rear kitchen you have to be kind of spry to find the handle to dump the rear tank. With the slide out, it is even MORE fun bwhahahaha it is up behind the rear wheel and pretty much out of sight. If you crawl up under there, take a look and if you don't see it, be away some poor folks have found that they forgot to put the rod/handle on the dump valve and put the plastic stuff covering the underside over top of it. If you don't find it looking where suggested, get back to your dealer and let them find it!

I have the same rig and the same thing happened. the grey tank valve handle was missing, of course the dealer said it vibrated off, yea in the two mile trip from the dealer to the storage. luckily they are cheep and I sprayed the screw with locktite just to make sure.

New to camping and tring to figure out how to store the basic stuff for camping trips, not a lot of storage close to the sink & stove. Any body have tips or ideas to share.
Sorry if this isn't the proper way to join a thread but very little time to research much.
