These two books are a MUST HAVE

I found these online and swear by them.. One is for the east coast mountain passes and one is for the western Passes...I recommend getting both for $25.00
They cover the total miles to the summit, and total miles for the whole pass...Very important if you are starting to overheat..You may be just shy of the peak, and could push it a few hundred more feet to hit the top..and on the going down side, it helps to see how much more of the steep grade is left..Just a great help, and I wont leave home without them. Also, good Idea to write notes in book on your particula experiance with the particular grade..(outside temp, did you overheat?? etc..)

You can also download them in your computer as an ebook

We have *The RVer's Friend*... which includes RV accessible Diesel & Service locations, overnight
parking, dump sites, and rest areas w/ dumps. http://www.truckstops.com/rvers.asp

If you typically travel the Interstates, there's *The Next Exit*... not specific to RV'ers but does
include RV Parks (near the exits) for overnight stops, fuel & restaurants.

This RV Bookstore sells both http://rvbookstore.com/shop/detail.aspx?p=1413&m=2

We also have (East & West) hard copies of the *Mountain Directory*... I agree, it's well-worth
the $25 if you travel cross-country. I posted about them in a previous thread.

Disclaimer... I have NO connection to the online Bookstore above!

Yep, the living/dining/galley is identical... you have the bed-slide & we don't.
2+ yrs later & we still love it! Hope you enjoy yours too. Happy Trails!

Don't know about a merger, but we've used Trailer Life for years, best we've found.

We got Woodalls 6 months ago and were VERY disappointed in it. My wife thought it was a complete waste of $. Don't know about this merger thing but I will not spend money on anything associated with Woodalls anytime soon.

Todd... that reminded me of the Jetson's cartoons from the 60's/70's. Okay, back to the (book) topic...

A lot of people use Woodalls probably 20% that come to our place but the internet is the major way to get people in. When traveling we have a couple of notebooks and a Virgin Mobile card that covers us anywhere we need to be
