2017 Alpine, repair sliding door

I have a 2017 Alpine 3660FL. Just got back from a week long trip. Upon unloading only to find rest room sliding door resting on floor. Hard to believe and to my dismay the cheap products put into an $80k unit. Replaced the hardware with all new heavy duty rail system from Home Depot for $29 . Wish they would take pride in what they build and sell. I've own several rv units but have never had so many issues with a so called luxury unit. Like I read on another forum, it's like a Harley. The bike is cheap compared to the accessories you buy after the purchased. Couldn't be far from the truth as I've owned a Harley. Thank God for the gift of being mechanically incline as I've already done several repairs to the Alpine.

Looks like I’ll upgrade mine before it does this. I already want to add some sort of clear plastic to the leading edge of that door and the wall. I can see it wearing off the paper on the wall from rubbing while opening/closing

Same Problem

We had the same problem on our 2017 Alpine 3401RS. Fortunately, I saw it before it completely fell off. It was held in place with 4 short #6 screws -- what a bad joke. Also, the door front of the garbage can drawer in the kitchen fell off the 2nd day that we owned it. It was stapled on!!!! I took it completely apart, beefed up the framing, added support angles and epoxied it back together with no more problems. I would think that every unit made would have the same problems if made like ours was.

I fabricated a wooden U track and lined it with the felt side of Velcro. It now keeps the door from hitting the jamb. I was having same issue . Also the useless plastic track is junk.
