I very much dislike portable electric heaters. My dad was a Firefighter and saw way too many fires started by them.
I use electric to heat also by invested in the "Cheap Heat" system.

No it isn't cheap to buy to start with, but heats the belly and with our 32' three season 5er will
hold 68 degrees in the 5er when the out side temp is down to the lower 30's,
when on a 30 amp hookup! (1,800 watts)
When on a 50 amp service I have not had an issue down to the mid 20's (5,000 watts).
I use to have to move wiring a bit to switch from 30 amp to 50 amp hook up, now there is an auto switch over option.
