New Member in Process of Buying Montana Mountaineer 362RLQ

Hi y'all. I am new to this Forum and I am doing a walk-through Monday on a 2012 Montana Mountaineer that I hope to buy. My question is if anyone owns one of these 5th wheels and if they have had any major problems with this Model. And any suggestions on what to look for during the walk-through will be appreciated. The dealer is setting it up in the park they own at their dealership so I will have some time to check it thoroughly. Thanks in Advance for all help.

We own a 2013 Montana Mountaineer and love our fiver. Things to look for on this particular model might include the following:

delamination of the fiberglass on compartment doors
condition of tires on the unit
condition of the springs and axels, rust is a killer if not maintained
have them run the front jacks all the way up and down to make sure they are not frozen

This is just a few of my issues that I have addressed over time.

A typical PDI list will be helpful. You should find the fit and finish of materials superior to most campers that are six years old.

Good luck

Thanks

Thanks for the info. Will check all that you mentioned. The tires are 7 years old so know they need replaced. Thanks to K_N_L I have a good PDI that I can use also. Good to know that you love your fiver and hopefully I will fall in love with this one too.
